A creation member of N.Y.C.'s electronic music vista, Richard Bone started his vocation by writing music for off-Broadway theater productions (victimization homemade processors), and has worked with neo-legendaries Lenny Kaye and Reeves Gabrels. In 1980, he united Shox Lumania, but soon went solo and released a string of singles on Chrysalis Records. He has produced singles for Rubber Rodeo, composed original music for award-winning cable television and broadcast television, and has been involved in the medicine video production of his own work released on the observational Sony in the early '80s. His intriguing, ambient works continued into the '90s, culminating with 1999's Hip, which featured a jazzy atmosphere. Many of his releases were put out by his have Quirkworks label.
